Emerging Technologies

Presented By: Fred Zajac, Business Development Executive of NetMedia Solutions

This session will review Emerging Technologies and how the IoT (Internet of Things) will transform the way humans act daily, and how to properly protect ourselves from ourselves.

Artificial Intelligence is being flooded with billions of dollars from investors all over the world. IBM, one of the earliest Pioneers in AI introduced us to Watson on the popular show Jeopardy, and we are now seeing AI being used to analyze data for companies all over the world. You are presented with AI generated recommendations through the ads you receive on social media sites, the emails from accounts you have, and even news feeds about your favorite hobby. This is only the beginning of what will soon be a world of robots.

We have already been introduced to technology that wants to replace your best friend. It is called, “Alexa”. Alexa will know more about you then anyone else in your life. She will know when you come home, what foods you like to eat, what jokes make you laugh, what to say when you are sad, and anything else she can gather from you while she is turned on.
